Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League

The scores will be recorded by the league statistician, who will compile the standings and game scores. The information will be available on our league website at www.lvysl.net.

PROCEDURE FOR REPORTING GAME RESULTS: (both teams must report)

· Either EMAIL to kweinhold@hotmail.com (with the word ?soccer? in the subject) or PHONE 274-5074 by 6:00 PM Sunday. If you leave a message, the answering machine will record the time of call. The preferred method is by EMAIL.

· Give your name, club affiliation, game number, date of game, and final score for both teams.

· There is a fine for tardy calls of $3.00; NO CALL fines by the league meeting in November are $6.00.

POSTPONING A GAME, OR CHANGE FIELDS/GAME TIMES

· FOR POOR WEATHER on DAY OF GAME ? Home team shall call visiting coach by 9AM, or 2 hours prior to games starting before 11AM. Determine at this time an alternate date and time.

· FOR RESCHEDULING A GAME ? Coaches wishing to reschedule any game must contact the opposing coach AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED GAME. Games must be rescheduled no more than 2 weeks after the original date. Otherwise, all games are to be played as scheduled.

· FOR CHANGING FIELDS/GAME TIMES ? It is the responsibility of the home team coach to notify the opposing coach of the field or time conflict and make the proper arrangements.

In all cases above, it is the responsibility of the HOME TEAM COACH to immediately call Larry Freet, the Referee Coordinator, at 964-3460 after the conversation between the 2 coaches to state their intentions. If this is not done, the president will schedule the game at his discretion. This info must then also be forwarded to the league scheduler and statistician.

ALL RESCHEDULED GAMES MUST BE PLAYED BEFORE THE FINAL SUNDAY IN OCTOBER OR THE GAME WILL BE FORFEITED. THIS IS ESPECIALLY CRITICAL IF THE GAME HAS PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS.

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST:

· Teams may start a game with seven players to avoid a forfeit.

· Referee fees for 2008 Fall season are $42.00 for U-14 and $36.00 for U-12. Each team pays ½ of this fee.

· Make sure fields are properly lined, goals anchored, corner flags in place and nets in good repair and tied down.

· Clubs shall turn in, at game time, properly filled out lineup sheets, complete with pass numbers and jersey numbers. Any infractions will result in a fine to the club.

· No spectators are allowed to watch the games from behind the goals (minimum 10 yards) or the players bench. All spectators should be seated on the opposite side of the field from the players bench.
