For U-12, U-14 and U-16 please make sure that you contact Larry Freet 2 hours before game time by emailing him at LFREET@philadelphiamixers.com or calling him at 717-507-6566. The sooner you contact Larry the better. As a courtesy, changes may also be submitted to the league scheduler at kweinhold@hotmail.com so the website can also be updated.
New: In the downloads tab is LVYSL's guidelines regarding lightning safety. All referees, coaches and parents should be aware of this.
Don't forget, all U12 and higher levels need to report your scores by 6pm each Sunday to avoid a club fine. Also, there have been numerous date/time changes that are not reflected yet on these schedules. I hope to have the updated changes by Monday night.
There will be a "Coach's Game Report" available in the downloads section that may used and submitted TO YOUR CLUB REP ONLY and may be further reviewed by the league. We ask that discretion and professionalism be used when filling out the form whether positive or negative, so please have a "cool head" when filling it out.
If you do not cancel in the required time and the ref shows to the field they must be compensated 1/2 of the referee fee for the game. If no one is at the field the club/team will be fined for the amounts due to the referee and the fees will be added to the clubs total fines for the year.
Coaches/parents: It is a league rule that before you submit any publications to the Lebanon Daily News stating your team as "league champions", you must first get the approval of the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League. This does not include photos, but if any wording indicates this you need approval. Additionally, U8 and U10 teams do not keep score of their games, hence there are no champions or undefeated teams as such in these age brackets.
I also wanted to state that there is no info on this site regarding any U6 teams. That age group is not sanctioned by the league as the individual clubs run their own internal teams and games. That is why you will not see any references on the site.
For the fall league: Reminder to all U12 and U14 coaches that no games may be rescheduled AFTER September 30. (according to Article IV, Section 4, rule 4 of the league bylaws) "other than weather or acts of God". THEY MUST BE PLAYED.
